Wandering Woman and I got here 9 days ago and began house hunting.  We found a delightful place, 2 BR, A/C, furnished for 6500 baht  ($190) a month.  We took possession today (Feb. 10) and moved out of First Hotel.

First Hotel was a gem. Huge double fan room with western toilet for 275 baht (about $8) in the center of town, easy walking distance to everywhere. The owner must also own the local water bottling company because guests are enitled to unlimted bottles of cold drinking water.

We bought two bicycles for 2000 baht each.  It has been a long time since WW rode a bike, but it is the quickest way to get around town.  For concerned members of her family, she has not run into anything or crashed or had a single mishap, which is more than WM can say for his rented semi automatic motorcycle, which lurched from neutral to first gear as he was kick starting it at the Esso station and tossed WM into the wall.  A slight cut on the arm and a bit of fury at this piece of crap bike being the only time I laid down a motorcycle on this whole trip happening as I was gassing this bike up to return to the rental place.

This is the final entry in the travel blog for this trip, as we are done traveling and are settling in.  We can be reached via email through Travel Pod.  Our friends are invited to come see us.  We do not know when we will be Wandering again, but when we do you can count on getting another update from Wandering_man.
