Two days before take off and thought we should give posting a trial run.  For us, this is new technology and we want to be sure we're on good terms...
 
So here's entry number one, starting with our starting point: A glimpse out our back door on a particularly brilliant winter day. A Perfect Winter Afternoon

It is inspiring to imagine how the experiences we will have in the coming days will contrast with this place and the lives we have here...inspiring of what, we don't have the time to sort out.  So much to do between now and then (starting with the living room!)  Getting organized...?

 But behind the angst of a to-do list far too long, is an eager anticipation we haven't felt for a very long time!
