HELLO -- it is Wednesday, August 1st and I am still in Mullingar, Ireland at the home of my cousin, Nuala. Today was my first misty and moisty day since I have been here.  Because Nuala spends most of the day with her mother at the nursing home, she dropped me off at Belevedere House and Gardens where I had the great fortune to spend 5 and 1/2 hours walking and looking around.  After the quick look stops of the bus tour it was nice to allow so much time to really absorb a place.  I was early enough that I was the only one in the house (a 16th century Georgian home) so I could pretend that I was Lady of the Manor.  The grounds are on the shore of Lough Ennell (lough is lake in gaelic).  There were many walks to take and sights to see including a beautiful walled garden and the jealous wall.  I had lunch in the middle at the little cafe and tea later on in the afternoon. I am now back at Nuala Higgins and just woke up from a nap (I am on vacation -- I can do that). I am being "collected" this evening at half past seven by Robert and Mary McNamara as I am dining at their home this evening.  That is it for now from the Emerald Isle.

Re: Not so green here
I've been posting messages but I think they went to your work. Looh up the O'finneteghearns while you are there. That's Tims real name.

Yes, this leg of the trip I have had more than my share of tea. Everywhere I visit tea and sandwiches are brought out --much peeing going on. I will try and look up the O'Finnetegheins (or however you spelled it).
