I left Ajax around 4pm today. i got there in record time! At 7:20pm Leah and her man still hadn't arrived home from their w/e in Montreal. I waited. I waited some more. I called Miranda. I wondered, worried, why they hadn't arrived yet. After an hour they got there. Both had forgotten keys in different places adding hours onto their trip home!

We trucked all the stuff up to Leah's awesome little apartment and immediately sat and cracked some wine. I finally got to meet Leonelle (sp?) for the first time which was cool! I had heard alot about him for a long time now. he let us take a load off and cooked up some omellettes while we chatted away. It felt really good to be with Leah again. We have always been close but the distance is tough sometimes. Distance is always tough on a relationship tho.

She brought some special wine from Montreal and we drank and talked and ate and caught up. her place is really cool. Miranda calls it the Treehouse. It's at the very top of a lovely house in Westborough, a really cool neighborhood in Ottawa. Sleep came late. Leah had to work the next day but was going to call in to see if we could spend the morning together and she could go in for the afternoon.I really wanted to visit the art gallery and she was game.
