Quick entry from Hamburg!
Today we went to the Fischmarkt, an event that happens every Sunday morning from 5:00 am to 9:30 am, but which is actually supposed to be just a continuation of the Saturday night party. I would have liked to go (all night), but had nobody to go with, since Alex didn't seem interested.
It was still awesome this morning, a huge market with lots of handmade wares and music. Also, lots of beer. Naturally.

Another weird fact about Europe: People (most disturbingly, men, but women too) here have some sort of fascination with spandex. They wear it all the time. Mostly during sporting activities like jogging or biking. But sometimes just walking around. This includes spandex which is at times too big, at times too small, both of which are not nice to the visual effect. However, the "perfect fit", as it were, is little better. And I'm talking full outifts. Surely these people are cold? It's cold here now! I just don't get it. Also, it's all sizes of person, not only the perfectly proportionned ones. Not nice.

Anyhow, that's the news report for today! Tomorrow, off to Lübeck, then on Tuesday, to Copenhagen!

Ha! Ha! from mom
Very funny about the spandex. I thought that spandex went out in the '80s. I leave for Vegas early tomorrow am. I will e-mail you on Thursday--Love, Mom

Thanks for the mental picture...
We were talking about your rant towards spandex at the Fort on Sunday... when someone raised the issue of mullets. Are they still rampant around Europe?

Glad to hear you're having fun, despite the grim situation in regards to bottoms in Europe!
