Guten morgen alles!

Here we are back in Germany! Phew! It was nice in The Netherlands, Belgium and France, but it is nice to be back to someplace where we are familiarly confused by the language instead of completely lost. Dutch simply doesn't make sense!

Anyhow, we are now in Cologne! We have a couple daytrips planned from here, so I'm really hoping we'll be able to see it well enough. There is a huge cathedral here, actually bigger than any other we have so far seen. It is Gothic in style and actually wasn't completed until 1880. It also escaped destruction during WWII.

We will be visiting Bonn, Aachen and Düsseldorf from here as well, and then we will be heading off to Bremen, in the northwest of Germany!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, I hope it was delicious!

Hi from Mom
I hope you're taking lots of pictures of those Gothic cathedrals. I think they're so beautiful!
