Gute dag everyone!
We have been moving faster than anticipated through Northern Belgium and the Netherlands, for a couple reasons. Mostly, we notice that cities have art museums to offer as attractions, and as neither Alex nor I are huge art connoisseurs, we have reached our capacity as far as faking interest in those bloody paintings.
So anyways, we decided not to stay in Antwerp as originally planned, we just decided to lock up our bags in the train station and take a couple hours to walk around and see the city. It was admittedly very nice, and a gorgeous day, but by 1:00 pm, we were gone!
We came yesterday to Rotterdam, in The Netherlands. As fate would have it, we ran into none other than Ken again on the street, who spent the rest of the day with us. We walked all over Rotterdam, including the waterfront (which has a PancakeBoat attraction! I don't think we'll go on it though!) and played some mini-golf!
Today, we went on a great day-trip to The Hague, having decided we'd seen enough of Rotterdam. It is VERY warm today, about 21 or 22 degrees, and we walked to the beach in The Hague and spent a couple hours relaxing and wading in the North Sea! Anyways, it was a very refreshing day!
Another weird fact about Europe: There are no doorknobs here, only door handles, and you can't turn them up, you can only turn them down.
Hope everyone is doing well!

More about doorknobs
Yeah, I guess I never told you---when we lived in Germany and we heard of somebody going back to Canada, a common phrase was 'he's returning to the land of round doorknobs'---Mom
