Yo. Just back from the blue cruise from Fetihye to Olimpos. Fantastic time. We left F on Mon and arrived in O on Thu where I spent one night at the famous treehouses and saw the ancient chimera or natural methane flames.
Great bunch on the boat - really good group and we got on like a house on fire. 10 Oz, 3 Cannuks, 1 Yank and a ginger haired tosser (moi). Who u go with on something like this can be crucial and luckily this was an easygoing group all up for a laugh and a carry on. The weather could have been a tad warmer on Day 2 and 3 but cest la vie - I was still in the water every day regardless of windchill - my extensive training at the 40ft off the coast of Dublin stood me in good stead.
It was great sailing around the med coast where ur biggest decisıon was to do a Sudoku puzzle, or have a game of cards with one of the others or simply relax on the foredeck and soak up the views and the sun (when it came out. All meals were catered and basically twas no hassles at all.
Id well recommend the Blue Cruise and a few nights at Olımpos to anyone. Great stuff.
So now Im back in Kalkan where Ill probably stay till Sun morn when Ill begin to head north to catch that Italia bound ferry on the 26th. My time in Turkey is ticking away but Id still like to see Salkıkent Gorge, Pamukalle and Ephesus. Theyre on the way to Cesme so fingers crossed.
Ok, cheers and lets hope TIPO starts up after 5 days rest.

Olympos
Where did you stay in Olympos - the main place burned down a few weeks ago??
Can I just say that as lovely as it is to hear about Turkey - it is getting a tad dull. Have you thought about pulling your finger out and moving along a little faster?? Not for yourself, mind you, but for the rest of us who are following along??
Take care
Naomi (from RAK)
