Yo Yo Yo. Alas as u can see from the title Im still in Ezerum. As mentioned before I dont like hanging around in one place for too long - how I stayed in Al Ain all that time - Im still trying to figure out. Anyway u guessed it - car problems.
Thıs afternoon after a leisurely bfast and exploration of Ezerum sights and attractions, I discovered that TİPOs electrics were as dead as the dodo. However the engine was still purring like the cat that got the cream, so I drove to the outskirts of Ezerum where Id spotted a FIAT dealer & service centre the previous night and got them to give TIPO the once over.
To cut a long sob story short it was 430pm by the time TIPO was doing the Irish jig again so I abandoned my plans to reach Rize (some 200km away) and ınstead headed back to Ezerum and whats more I went to exactly the same hotel as last night - mainly cos I knew exactly how to get there and at US$6, its cheap enough.
So inshallah its the Black Sea Coast tommorow. Fıngers crossed.
I think Im going for a hammam now.

TYPO lives on
Wow that was a stroke of luck being able to get poor old TYPO to the doctor on time. Ezerum sounds like some elf hangout from Lord of the Rings.

As for the USA $6 hotel .... now that's a regular Robert the Fay deal...trust your radar to find it.

Can't believe you paid all of $6 for a hotel. You were robbed. By your standards I would have expected at least something for $3 especially after having to fork out on Tipo! Please get that shiny red Italian Job home in one piece so that we can give it the send off it deserves.
