The Day One plan was to drive to Hot Springs, AR but they were booked - a Beauty Pageant was in town! We had to move along to Russellville, AR arriving around midnight. We missed a portion of the Ouachita National Park but should see some today. We made a stop in the dark park and I was amazed at how loud the cicadas were...I have never heard such loud noise at night. Most exciting moment? Finding gas at $3.89 after seeing several stations over $4.00. It was a busy station. I would like to dedicate a beautiful song I heard last night to Chuck and his family - I awoke this morning with them in my heart. Vince Gill - Go Rest High On That Mountain. Until next time...DM+

crickets and cicadas
both bring memories of my childhood... the cicadas used to be so loud you couldn't have a conversation outside!

Chuck.continues to battle. I know Sandy and the boys appreciate your prayers.
