Day Two found us traveling to Branson, Missouri however; we had to get out of the Ozark Mountainous State Park. I laugh to myself because it wasn't even very mountainous but nonetheless a challenge for this Texan! While in the park, we took a little detour to this place called King's Bluff and ended up hiking a couple of hours/miles in the beautiful country. T & E were excited because the warning sign said to watch your children; they knew it would be dangerous! The cliffs were a little unnerving!
Back in the car we make it to Branson and I am horrified at all the traffic and crowds...not at all impressed. Additionally, our hotel has had several false fire alarms, the air is not working well and they won't start checking in for another two hours! Well to make lemonade out of lemons the boys run off to find the pool and James and I regroup. We had planned on a helicopter ride but the company had had an accident in the family so the company was closed for the weekend
I am reading 30 Days to Live and recommend it to all my friends reading this...it has been a great way to communicate with my kids as well (would you act THAT way if you only had 30 days left????). The fun part of reading the book is that I am currently living out what I would do and that is to travel and hang out with my three boys!
Until next time - DM+

King's Bluff Hike
. James took it as a sign and we starting looking for other things to do! We took in a show at the Sight and Sound Theater...a most fabulous theater group. It is a Christian family owned theater and the production was Noah. The production was LOOSELY based on Noah's story but leaned more towards Jesus and salvation. The sets were so impressive with real animals and a stage that went on the sides on the audience. It was worth giving it a try if you are ever in town.
