Where I stayed
The park hosts a wide selecton of affordabable accomodations that would satisfy a diverse population. Lodging possibilities range from rooms in the inn, camping, and waterfront villas with a private deck.
Our decesion to go to FCFSP was spur of the moment;therefore, the only avaiable lodging was a room in the inn. Let this be a lesson to you and book early. I believe a villa is the best buy for your money because it has 3 bedrooms and cooking facilities for only $150.00 a night. The inn offers the convience of a restaruant with a daily buffet and a very limited menu, which is another reason to camp or choice a villa. In retrospect we wish we would of at least brought some food for a picnic. One evening we actually missed dinner because we didn't get back before the restaurant closed.
There is plenty of fun in the sun activities for the outdoor enthusiast and plenty of opportunities for Anees to ennjoy her first: Paddle boat ride, hike ( I carried her of course), assisted slide down the sliding board, and ok second time in the pool. A couple of things that would make the place even more appealing is if there was a place in the park to rent bikes and watch a movie. The park has some exceptional places to ride bikes, but have not been able to find anyone to contrat with the park to lease bikes for the last three years. Spa activties wouldn't be a bad idea either after a long hard hike. I love the great outdoors, but I am not opposed to a little self indulgence or pampering either.
Entrepreneurs looks like there might just be some business opportunities waiting to be had.
