I made it despite the gusty winds and light rain for the last hour of the ride. Very light rain, mind you so it wasn't a problem. The motel is perfectly situated for walking around, not far from the Golden Gate Bridge and it has free covered parking. It's set up with a drive thru into a small central parking courtyard with the rooms running three stories above.
This rain was not supposed to arrive until tomorrow night so maybe it means the rains will not last the whole weekend ; 0
Doesn't matter. With the bike securely parked, I'm happy to explore the city by foot or trolley.
