Sorry to be incommunicado, folks, but the phone won't work in NM or parts of AZ. I'm in the Public Library on a pc. Decided to get the oil changed in Albuquerque and while there enjoying the surrounding mountains, I was told that the clutch was slipping, could be springs, could be more*. They couldn't get parts in for today so I decided to go to Gallup NM for the nite as I'd planned and then head to the nearest Kawi dealer in AZ hopefully early enuf in the day that I'd have the bike for the next afternoon.
So they printed up a list and map of the choices. And here I am in, actually, Lakeside, and staying in an inn nearby where there's a reduced rate for MC repair victims, hospice visitors, etc. Very convenient arrangement. And you can easily walk to a variety of places - food, cinema. Better than in Albuq. where there wasn't anything very handy to their shop. Great service though and friendly, helpful people.
The photos will have to wait until Sprint/Nextel actually finds me.
*Want to lay odds on the more expensive alternatives? I don't.
