Can't help it, everytime I think of Albuq. I think of Bug Bunny making the wrong turn. Well, I'm here with a purpose. Find the Kawi dealer and get my oil change and get to Gallup.
I was in luck. The gps didn't lie about the name or location and when I said I'd come from Mass. to get an oil change here, I got a smile and actually was taken right after the mechanic finished up on the other bike.
They had the parts and after my trip to a lunch spot down the street, I had a surprise. The mechanic came in with a rag holding a six inch diameter ball of orange fibers and seed pods. He'd found it in the left air filter spot. The poor Vulcan had come all the way from home with that. No wonder he was having oil reflux problems due to breather problems...
