I was thinking about stopping for gas in Kline's Korners but kept seeing signs for the Double C stop with a DQ and gift store and gas. Ignored them, but after the 8th one, decided what the hey, why not.
Made my gas and rest stop, and looked for a moment thru the merch. Looked up and was asked by a familiar face if that was my Vulcan in the lot. Yes... it was really Gail from MA and her husband. They were travelling from Santa Fe east and weren't going to stop either, but here we were, hugging and shaking our heads as we caught up with what was happening. Follow that instinct, I say.
