The North-West highlands is a beautiful area of Scotland, reminding me of McKenzie Country in NZ.
Very dramatic landscape.
We enjoyed visiting our friends in Scourie, Anthony taught in a local high school, 65 pupils and 15 teachers!!(Some part-time).
We headed for Edinburgh, a 6 hour drive down the A9, that was fine until we got to the city and then got totally lost.
We were rewarded by finding our accommodation, very posh!!! A Bargain found on the net!
Went out for tea at the National Museum with Anne-Louise's cousin, Rosheen, going on to 92 years of age. She is very sprightly, just finished a 10 day trip around Italy then heading to Greece for another trip.
Decided to then go find the Edinburgh castle and walk the Royal Mile, the very old streetrs of the city.
