Hello and welcome to our travel blog.
Thought we'd do things differently this time with our overseas adventure and create a travel blog. Over the next 6 weeks we hope to keep this blog updated with where we are in Africa; what we've seen; what we've done; and hopefully how many of the Big 5 we have seen. Hopefully, we'll even add some photos along the way.
For those new to TravelPod it's really easy to view. When we update with a new post, you will either receive an email (from my hotmail address) or if you're on facebook, there will be a 'news feed' to announce an update. Of course you can choose to ignore us, or come on our journey and see what we've been up to. Or if you're really commited - and can't wait for a message - you can just log on to: www.travelpod.com/members/vonantmonch
Within TravelPod you can view entries several ways. Click on the various dots on our map; go to the Recent Entries section located on the right of our homepage or use the table of contents (which is generally at the bottom of each entry). If you want to make a comment on our blog you will have to join TravelPod or alternatively you can just reply to our hotmail or facebook messages.
We start our journey with 42 hours of transit from Sydney to Nairobi and then after 32 days we end in Johannesburg - coming home via Singapore for 3 days.
