It was so nice to be out of Kathmandu! Pokhara is a nice smallish, quiet, lakeside town at the base of the Annapurna Himalaya ranges. We didnt get up to much in the 3 day that we were here but that was the plan. Time to chill out away from the madness in some fresh air. Basically our days revolved around mealtimes and we had some great meals here too.
We did do a morning walk up to the peace pavillion to get a little exercise in and there was awesome views of the ranges from up there too.
The mountains looked amazing and we did have a good think about doing another trek for a week or so. We watched the movie about Everest called Into Thin Air, had a beer and decided that if we come to Nepal again we will do it for now we will move on and head to India.
Not much else to say about Pokhara but we had a great few days here relaxing and trying to shake the colds which are still lingering.
