Tallinn has an amazing old town, gotic style inserted in the UNESCO Heritage List.
It is a pleasant place to enjoy the vibrant little cobble streets, admiring its precious palaces, the large square with the Tawn Hall built around 1400, its old walls and towers, the recently restored district of Rottermann with a modern design among old factories and between the old town and the modern city of tall glass and iron skyscrapers.
Tallinn is not flat as the other Baltic capitals but it has a beautiful hill that hosts the House of Parliament, an orthodox cathedral, the Dome Church, the House of Government and the Kothu Viewplatform with the best view of the city below
It is advisable to rent a bike and to arrive at the nearby elegant district of Kadriorg to visit its large park with the amazing Kadriorg Palace, a classical building surrounded by a huge rose garden, the nearby elegant President'spalace and the popular museum KUMU.
Not far along the seaside is the nice sandy beach of Pirita with a nearby forest of tall pines, while on the other western side of the bay you have to visit "Rocca al mare" italian name that means castle at the sea that hosts the Estonian Open Air Museum, the 18th to 20th century vernacular architecture and rural milieu in a beautiful park of 80 hectares.
I have also visited PARNU and TARTU two nice Estonian cities.
Parnu is a seaside resort with a long sandy beach and a wooden villas, spas and old buildings among parks and gardens. It hosts a movie festival in July and events during all summer.
Tartu is the cultural Esthonian city, site of the oldest university founded by the Swedish around 1630 with a nice old town, the town hall and a large pedestrian area upto the river.
Behind the town hall is a hill with a park, an astronomic observatory and old buildings that belong to the university
