After a day of admin back at the hotel we were keen to get out and see more of the Riviera so we booked a trip to another millionaire's paradise, St Tropes. The tour would take us on a 1:30 bus ride along the coast through sexy little towns and passing some of the worlds most famous hotels that only allows A & B list stars to live in their swanky rooms. We also stopped off at a little village called Port Grimaud or also called 'little Venice' were many other celebs live before setting sail around to St Tropes to get a water side view of some of the mansions. The boat tour was hosted by a charismatic Irishmen who knew all the celeb gossip and who lived where and owned what. He also gave us a full run down of which celebs had been spotted in St Tropes during the last 48 hours and tips on where we might spot a celeb, whoohoo. After docking we spent two hours exploring the beautiful little village and port and I even wound my way up to the castle overlooking the village to get some great paparazzi views, just wish I had a paparazzi zoom lens now.
Sadly we did not run into any celebrities but did spot many well groomed and pedicured people who obviously wished they could be celebrities the way they were flaunting their money. It's hard to imagine what being this rich must be like, can't be all fun, can it?
