Kaikoura

Kaikoura is the whale and dolphin watching capital of the South Island. We only had a limited time in Kaikoura so had to settle for a seafood lunch and a quick drive through the area.
We didn't sopt any whales or dolphins but did see many birds and some lazy seals. More thumbnails ...

I work for government of South Africa, I'm facinated by the way New Zealand has involved coastal communities in Boat Based Whatching industry. who can i talk to regarding the model that can be adopted so that South Africa can also involve communties in a more active way to make sure that more people participate fully in the indutry.
