The Hunter Valley is another world famous Australian wine producing region and the most well know winery in the area is Wyndham Estate and no trip to the Hunter Valley would be complete without trying their delicious wine. We were lucky enough to try their entire range including the wines not on the usual tasting list, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Next stop was a boutique winery and then a quick tasting at the Blue Tongue brewery who brew a few very interesting beers including a alcoholic ginger beer.
We spent the night at the quaint little Cessnock Hotel which is most likely the oldest hotel in the town. We had a fun evening at the downstairs bar and joined some of the towns locals in the Karaoke evening.
