4 days in Sydney was never going to be enough. There is so much to this city that you might need a month to get a real idea of what Sydney is about. It is by far the most picturesque city we have visited in Australia, the Sydney harbour with the opera house and bridge are simply breath taking, easily comparable to Cape Town but without the natural features of Table Mountain.
We spent 3 nights in Bondi beach just 7km from the city center at the YHA backpackers. The advantage of this are is that you are close to the main beach and all the bus routes. Tomorrow we have planned to spend one night in the Hunter valley wine region before setting off to Brisbane.
