Bev and I love being with the Derrick and Cherry Pringle.  It's so peaceful and enjoyable.  The discussion always laced with good-natured narrative and good-hearted laughter. Their estate here in Kitwe is one of my favorite places on the earth.  It’s been three years since we’ve been here and since last traveling together to the Northwest territories.

Now, today, it's time to leave again.  We have a good part of the morning yet. I've got some items to send back to the home office on email.  Then we just sit around and talk.  It's just so easy to be together.

Their Active Agencies office is about a quarter mile or so from their home.  They don't have WIFI at the house; only in the office.  Also, the Church office which stores church literature and where the mailing of the Beyond Today magazine is done is from the little office building behind their commercial office  We stopped by here to meet the person they have helping with the office. His name is Chongola.

Cherry Pringle has been volunteering to send out literature since 2004.  They have made this their project and have put their own finances into this. An article about their work appeared in the United News in the May 2004 issue. Here is the link:

Derrick took us to Ndola airport for our 1:20 PM flight to Johannesburg.  All ontime and uneventful. Cherry did not come because she had other commitments. But, we hugged and looked forward to our next meeting, hopefully for the Pastor's Development Program in November in Cincinnati.

We had a three-hour layover in Johannesburg.  Then the horrible 17-hour flight back to Washington DC with a one-hour fuel stop in Dakar, Senegal.

In Johannesburg, an African group did some music for people in the terminal.  Was entertaining.  Here is a clip I took that you can see on YouTube.
Great trip!  Thanks for following!

Can I ask what happened to Bev's leg? It looks scraped in some of the photos.
