Arrived in Washington DC after a 4 and half hour coach journey.
The hostel we had was gross, dirty bathroom and stuff, but nevermind!
We made the most of visiting all the sites... The White House, - George Bush was even here today as there was a big press conference about to happen, but we didn't stick around for that!
Abrahamn Lincoln memorial, FDR Presedential monument, Vietnam and Korean Veterans memorials.........yes, loads of memorials!
We went to an Art Gallery with all students work in, it was really good actually - a bit of culture for me!
We had gorgeous weather all day but it froze at night.

We visited the massive Arlington Cemetry today - it really was vast. JFK and family are all buried here. I think a few films like A Few Good Men, and Forest Gump have features here?? possibly not though?!
We went to the Pentagon too, its just one huge building so tight on security that you couldn't see anything or go inside - waste of time really!
We then strolled again to MORE memorials... Jefferson etc. Then walked through the Federal Triangle and up to the Capitol Hill (the dome shaped Senate building is here). So, generally lots of walking again today!
Caught a coach to Boston, Massachusetts through the night - very tired!
