ok so i'm sure, even before i've pressed finish and send, that this entry will end up being pin-pointed as coming from the back of beyond, somewhere in the northern territory, right on top of ayers rock, but it will be wrong, so just to prepare you, we were actually staying just some distance south from the tom price pin... when i get back home, i will show you just how far we drove in those two long days from tom price to the swan valley, just north of perth... it was some drive and sean deserves many, many pints for his driving skills, avoiding road kill and road trains and such, but more of that soon... as for mount magnet, we stayed here just the one night again, and while here, stopped off at the oval ground to watch their australia day fireworks, several days early, which could have ended in utter devastation after some of the fireworks decided to fly straight out into the crowd, but luckily no-one was hurt and the display went with a BANG! a good night!
