Amantani Island is in the main part of Lake Titicaca and so much colder and windier and Moses house was right on the headland so we needed the 5 blankets on the bed to keep warm. The house was bigger and more modern than the one at Llachon but the toilet a corregated shed in the garden! We had lunch of soup (again) and fried cheese and potatoes and yam and then had a game of footie with the locals and then a nice walk up the hill to watch the sunset across the lake. You realise then how big it is when you can't see anything in the distance but water. We then stumbled down in the dark to get dressed up in a slightly different local costume for dancing. This one I really couldnt breathe in which makes dancing for the time peruvian dances go on for a hard task! Its slight different on this island as its more touristy they have more of us to stay so don't do as much of the traditional farming stuff or didn't appear to the men were dressed far too smartly for that so all in all the first night although more simple was much better.
