Ive been lucky so far no altitude sickness and Huaraz is soo much better than Lima. The sun is shining and its hot, and its cheap!!!

A 1 day trek to Lake 69 a glacial lake yesterday to do a bit of aclimatising, it was spectacular if cold, as it snowed at the top, not difficult but walk but the altitude makes it a little harder as breathing in enough slows you down a bit treking to 4600m. Though proud of myself doing it in good time.

Then today just a little moutain biking down 1000m of winding road down the side of a moutain cool wind in your face fab!

Tommorrow I have booked a trip camping for 3 days crossing the Santa Cruz pass through the mountains, whish should be great aiming to bet the record of 4600m.

Vicky! I'm so jealous! It looks stunning, glad you can share photos as you go along. The blog entries are great too - I'm keeping the team updated of when you update so they can go have a read.

I've also set the team up a TravelPod account so we can comment on your entries (like now in fact), just so you know we're all reading and keeping up with you.

All is well here, nothing too exciting is going on.

Rach
