Before we set off on our driving tour around South West USA, we pre-booked all our stuff as we knew we wouldn't have time to do this on route.

Here are the the things we booked and who we used :

We booked all the flights, accommodation and car hire with North American Travel Services. They then gave s vouchers to present at all the hotels which confirmed our bookings. This went incredibly smoothly, we never had any problems checking in at any of the hotels.
We had to get some travel insurance and knowing that we would be travelling again within the next twelve months, we opted for an annual travl insurance policy. We got this from Norwich Union Direct and this cost £105.41 for the two of us. We thought this was pretty good for a full years coverage.
Finally, we also pre-ordered a National Parks Pass as we knew we would be going through many of the canyons national parks on our trip. I ordered this card (only needed to order one) from www.nationalparks.org online. This cost me $56.95 (about £30) but it meant we didn't have to pay all the park entrance fees on the way round. The park fees are uually about $20 minimum, so this was definitely the cheapest and hassle free way to do it. The card took about a week to come and was valid for a full 12 months.

Anyway, that was all the stuff pre-arranged, now for the trip.....
