On A Bus
After checking out at 11am, we went straight to the bus station to get our bus to Rio. We were surprised to find that we were on a 'cama' bus even though our tickets said 'semi-cama' - excellent. This makes the journey a lot more comfortable.
You don't get blankets, pillows, food or drink like you do in Argentina, but at least the seats were comfy.
They also like to set their air-conditioning at 'Deep Freeze' for some reason!!
We got stopped twice in the space of an hour, right in the middle of the night, by armed Police who came checking everyone's bags. We thought this was going to be a scam to claim some dollar's at first, but they turned out to be pretty genuine as it happens.
Today's part of the journey didn't go too bad, except for the bumpy roads, so let's hope tomorrow isn't bad either.
