As predicted, today was a slow day.
We managed to drag ourselves out of bed around 12noon, then got our stuff packed before checking out of the hostel at 1pm. We threw our bags into the storage room and headed out for breakfast/lunch.

We ended up at Olivers Travels again where I had a big fry up and Lorna had a chicken dinner. It was damn good again.

Our bus wasn't until 7.30pm, so we went back to the hostel and watched another film and backed up all our recent photos.

We got up to the bus station for around 7pm, paid our departure tax of 2 Bobs each, and climbed aboard. The bus was supposed to be semi cama, but was still pretty comfortable.

The bus set off at 7.30pm and Lorna started to feel ill right away. We think it must be something we ate as she had been fine all day.
Amazingly, she still had a sick bag that she had swiped from a previous Qantas flight, and this came in very useful about on hour or so into our trip. She virtually filled the bag, but then the disaster happened.....

....the bag leaked. It went all over the floor, and in her haste to throw it out the window, decided to cover me in it as well - nice!
To add insult to injury, it was pitch black on the bus, so we couldn't see where the sick was!! I had luckily put my little torch in my day bag, so we were able to get some light on the situation, but this just identified in full colour the whole disaster scene. Again, luckily, I had put toilet roll in my bag as well, so we spent the next hour cleaning the floor, sides, blankets, clothes etc etc of Lorna's inners! She had also managed to deposit a really nose friendly smell within the contents of the vomit as well, which made the clean up process much smoother, not!!

Lorna was really bad though and we got some carrier bags together for the rest of the evening just in case. Good job we did as there were at least 4 more deposits through the night. Evidence of this can be found along the road from La Paz to Sucre, or down the side of the bus!!

Not much sleep was had during the bus journey, lets hope Lorna makes a recovery tomorrow.
