Today we tried to relax in San Pedro.
We had a walk into town about 12 noon. San Pedro seems to have kept it's quaint charm even though it is a hotbed for tourism.
After a walk around the square, we went to an internet café to get our photos saved to the iPod. We also got the chance to Skype home.
We also decided to book a 3 day trip to Uyuni in Bolivia. We want to go to Bolivia anyway and was going to get a direct bus to Uyuni. We have heard bad reports on the 3 day trips - poor food, bad drivers, accidents etc, but we have decided to go for it. We have had one company recommended to us, so we have gone with them - Pamela Tours - we will see!
After all this, it was time for lunch.
We went to Empanadium Del Norte Chileno for our lunchtime favourite of Empanada's. They were grand - as usual.
We spent the rest of the late afternoon and evening chilling in the streets of San Pedro, and sending postcards home, before heading out for dinner.
We went to the Export Restaurant this evening. Lorna had Lomo Pi Pi and I had a stone baked pizza. We have heard the food might not be too good on our 4wd trip, so we filled up tonight.
Early night of course as we have to be up at 7am tomorrow.
