Today we had a short drive to Caldera. A pleasant little town with a nice church, town square, port and a beach.

We had a quick go on the internet - only 30p an hour - then went to Empanadaopolis! This place did loads of different types of Empanada's.
Me and Lorna shared 3 between us :
Cheese, Ham, Tomato & Oregano
Chicken & Cheese
Beef, Green Peppers & Diente de Dragon!!

They were all fantastic and we could have eaten loads more - even though we were full.

After we stuffed ourselves stupid, we all went and flopped on the beach for a couple of hours. Once again, this was another beach blessed with soft sand and clear waters. A swim was obviously required, but the water was blummin' cold again!

We arrived back at the 'Shed' and went for a walk round the camping grounds. We found a football pitch that looked more like The Stags new ground, but then found the children's playground!!

There was now no stopping us. First it was the swings (well, nothing wrong with a bit of swinging), then it was the see-saw! Lorna was actually scared of the see-saws and wouldn't go on the big ones! Scaredy cat!

We then headed back to the cabin to kick off the BBQ. Rodrigo & Yersun were on cooking duties and put on a great spread. We had steak, chicken, sausages, potatoes, salad and a 'special' salsa mix!! It was fantastic.

We washed down our grub with Pisco Sours and Escudo Beers. Of course, the Vickers Cheesey iPod also came into play and got the party really kicking.
As the night got a bit chilly, we started a fire and got the marshmallows out.
As we kept the fire going with wood and garbage, we looked like prehistoric cavemen - and after a few Pisco's, we sounded like them too!!

A cracking night!
