The bus journey wasn't great. The buses in Asia are more comfortable! Our driver wasn't happy with doing the night shift either - he did his best to keep everyone awake by hitting a kerb every 10 minutes!!
Luckily we changed drivers at 7am in Canberra (Australia's Capital City, in case you didn't know). This place really was constructed to serve as a Capital. I think what happened was New South Wales & Victoria both wanted the Capital City so they built one in between instead! However, it looks like they built it with materrials from Ikea!! Not the most pleassnt of places. We only had 40mins here, so it wasn't too bad.

Back in Sydney by 12 noon and then a sweaty walk up to our hostel - The Original Backpackers Hostel again. We hadn't got much sleep on the bus, so we spent the rest of the day doing a foid shop, a bit of internet, then watching TV.

Got a text from Kev who we met in China. We are going to go out for a few beers with him on Sunday night - should be good.
