E hung around the hostel for the morning before going out after lunch to meet Sarah - who we met in Vang Vieng.

Sarah's friend Abby also joined us at The Austral for a few afternoon beers. Abby's Mum's boyfriend (almost married) is a guy called Simon Hackett who has his own winery in the McClaren Vale. They also export a lot of wine to the UK.

Abby is really nice, but, just like Lorna & Sarah, is a bit hyper. So you can imagine the afternoon I had with three hyper & drunk lasses!! No dirty comments please - I'm a respectable young man.......OK, I'm a respectable man......OK, I'm a man......OK, I'm just a loser - happy now?
!
After The Austral we went to an Italian restaurant to share a couple of large pizzas. It was really good catching up with Sarah again, she's a really nice lass. It was also good to bring back the memories of tubing in Vang Vieng as well.

Abbey then invited us back to her Mum's house in the City where Abby stays. Her Mum & boyfriend don't use the house that much. The place itself is a really cool, old & quirky house. We sat in their lovely back garden and sampled bottles of Simon Hackett Wine. Things were getting louder and slurrier!

Abby then had to go to a fancy dress party. She got dressed up as a wicked cowgirl (see photos) fully equipped with loaded guns! Me, Lorna & Sarah headed back into town for a few more beverages. We went to the Austral again and then to a pub called the Woodend, I think. This turned out to be a right cowboy bar - with loads of cheesey music!!

It was a really good afternoon and evening. Sarah has also invited us to her Mum & Dad's for Sunday dinner tomorrow - wicked!
