She got a new top and a new dress as prezzies.
Lorna wanted a relaxing day so we used our weekly tickets to get the ferry across to Manly Beach. We spent all afternoon on the beach having a great time.
As the sun went down we went to the Ivanhoe Hotel for dinner. We had steak and salmon with beer and wine of course. It was really nice sat out on the hotel restaurants balcony for dinner.
After a couple more wines in the bar, we got the ferry back to the City. This was great because, as it was dark, there were some fantastic views of Sydney Harbour all lit up.
Lorna said she had a fabulous birthday - which is good of course.
