We went our separate ways this afternoon.
Lorna went shopping in the sales for a birthday present for herself.
As this was quite dangerous for our bank balance, I went to Scruffy Murphy's Irish Bar for a few bevvies and to watch a re-run of the Stoke v Man Utd game.

We both then went to a book shop on the way back to the apartment to see if there was anything worth getting in the sales. Lorna went to the travel section and I went to the kids section! Found a kids book titled 'Walter The Farting Dog'!! I was in bits for ages. I didn't buy it but since I've got back, I have decided to head back and buy it in a couple of days!!

On the way back to our apartment we bumped into Catherine who had been on the Stray bus in New Zealand with us. We have arranged to meet up with her after New Years Eve for a catch up and a beer.

This evening we met up with Duncan and Kathy who we had toured with in China. We got on really well with them in China and we have looked forward to catching up with them. They are in Sydney stopping with Kathy's brother, Tommy, and his wife, Lyndsey, who live here. They took us on a pub crawl around The Rocks area. There were old bars, fancy bars and cheesey music bars - it was a great night. We finally left the last bar about 4am!! Many beers and black Sambuca had been consumed.
We will probably try and stay off the booze now until New Years Eve!

What made the evening completely perfect was a text message from my mate Phil. The greatest news a travelling Forest fan could here - Calderwood sacked! I just hope it's not too late. Can't believe they lost at home to Doncaster!!
I still think we are doomed, but hopefully not.
