Today we headed off to Byron Bay. It wasn't too far so we took our time, but we did lose an hour on the way when we crossed the border.
We checked in at our van park, Broken Head Caravan Park, which is right on the beach - it's a fantastic position. We had a stroll on the beach then popped back to the van for some lunch.
After lunch we walked back to the beach (about 30 yards) and spent the afternoon on their body boarding and wave jumping again. It's great fun when you get waves this big. We ended up staying out in the sea for hours!

Eventually we dragged ourselves away as Lorna was getting a bit too excited about the fact it was 'Cheap Tuesday' at Domino's again. We had a shower then drove up to Byron Bay Beach.
Here, we ordered our pizza's and sat eating them overlooking the bay as the sun went down - brilliant.

We then drove back to our van park for the evening. I think we are going to spend all day on the beach again tomorrow.
