Whilst Lorna snored away this morning, I made a few phone calls to try and set up some accommodation in Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney. It's peak time when we are there and others have told us to get somewhere lined up for now. We can always change things later, but it's best to have somewhere booked just in case.
We then both had brekky and just sat in the sun by the van for an hour this morning - told you this place was laid back. We managed to drag our way down to Agnes Water Beach for about 11.30. Lorna's little eyes lit up as she bought a bodyboard this morning. She virtually ran down to the sea to get some wave action. Couldn't get her out the sea all morning, except for the one time when I shouted "SHARK!". Mind you, knowing Lorna, she would probably have had it on the BBQ within 5 minutes!
We had lunch at the beach and just crashed there for the afternoon. I actually fell asleep in my chair and Lorna got a photo. I look like a right pathetic old codger!! Keep your comments to yourself please!!
In the late afternoon we went back to the pool for a swim. Lorna decided it was time for some underwater trump smelling. You know the one where you trump under water, then burst the bubble and smell the outcome - grading it from 1 to 10! Oh come on, you've all done it in the bath!!
Only difference was, Lorna was doing this in a public swimming pool!! Classy chick! (For information purposes only, the highest graded one was an 8, by myself - must admit, I nearly followed through with it actually - now that would have scared the kids!).
After destroying more of the ozone layer we went back to the van and had dinner and listened to Queen.
No, not recordings of Her Majesty's last 50 Christmas messages to the Nation. I mean the musical group Queen, that you may have heard of!
God, it's so hard talking to you people sometimes!
