Got up and watched England match. What is it with England and the first halves of games? Anyway, 5-1 is a cracking result and you can't argue with 9 points out of 9.
After brekky, we took a walk to Auckland Domain, which is a big park in the city. This is also where the Auckland Museum is. We went in the museum - it's actually free to get in, but they request a donation of NZ$5 each, which we were quite happy to pay. Now, I'm not normally a big museum fan, but I have to admit, this one is pretty good.
They had many different 'zones' including : Volcanoes, War, Animals, Ocean, Moari etc. There were also lots of interactive activities as well. It was good for us, but it looks excellent for kids as well - that's probably why we liked it so much!!
We even dressed up as a ladybird & a bee - why? - I don't know, we just did! Freaks!
We spent over two hours in this museum - a record for the Vickers duo!!
After the museum, we sat in the park and had a little picnic lunch. It's a bit warmer today and there were some fantastic views over Auckland from up in this park. It's a really nice setting.
After a brief internet stop off, we headed back to our studio to watch the Japanese Grand Prix. It was showing at 5.30pm our time which was handy. I still think Massa lives up to the middle 3 letters of his name, but I fear that Hamilton is gonna throw it away again this year! Let's hope not.
Tonight we had curry and then packed our bags ready for jumping on our 'Stray' bus tomorrow morning at 8am.
