After brekky today we just dossed around the pool. We left the hotel place at about 1.30pm to go and get the ferry to Krabi.

This was still enough time for me to have a ladyboy moment. I went to the toilets to get changed about 1pm. As I was in mid-cloth, a young lady came out of the toilet cubicle! As I examined her body, thoroughly, I realised that she was definitely female - strange freak, I just smiled and continued. As I walked out of the toilets something struck me as wrong - there was a sign next to another door saying "Mens"! Which meant only one thing - I was in the women's toilets half naked! No doubt that she must have thought that I was a chick with dick!! We left the poolside in a swift hurry!

We boarded our ferry at about 13:45 and was surprised how packed it was Aonang Grand Inn Bedroom

. If this thing sunk, we were gonna's! It was a 90 minute survival run, but we made it - just!
At the port in Krabi, every bl**dy taxi driver tries to rob you blind. The port price for a taxi to Aonang Bay was 400 Baht. We refused to pay this and went out onto the street to see what we could get. A guy offered us his taxi for 300 Baht after some bartering, but we still weren't convinced. We then got chatting to a girl called Dee from Ireland who was also going to Aonang. We went to get in the taxi but it suddenly went up to 400 Baht because there was 3 of us. Now, we were happy to pay 400 Baht for three, but not to this robbing git! I know that's a swear word, but I am sick to death of these Asians trying to scam me everywhere I go!! If there is one thing I hate about being in Asia is these scamming gits who don't give a toss about their country, all they want to do is rip you off!! And you don't get any protection from it!!
Anyway we found a guy who would take us in an air con minivan for a better price and Dee made a point of going up to the taxi guy and ramming it up his ar*e!! Very funny. Good thing was, when we left, this taxi driver didn't have anyone else to take because he had spent to long trying to rob us - ooooh the satisfaction!!

We finally got to our digs, the Aonang Grand Inn - trust me, the word Grand is completely out of context 1-Aonang Grand Inn Bedroom

. However, it will do the job for two nights whilst we sort out our transfer to Langkawi. It's strange to think that in 13 days we will be in New Zealand - nice!

We took a walk down the beach and then ended up at Sally O'Mally's Irish bar. We had Penang curry & green curry and watched the Merseyside derby with a pint of Chang.
After this, we actually ended up in another Irish bar called The Irish Rover. Here, I moved onto pints of Tiger and watched the Man Utd - Bolton game. Rob Stiles is a complete nob-head, but never mind.
We bumped into Dee in here and had a quick drink with her. She has already been to South America so she passed on some tips. As she was heading to Chiang Mai & Laos, we passed on a few tips as well. I suppose this is where meeting other travellers is an advantage!

Looking forward to Langkawi on Monday.
