After brekky, which was included with our room, we had a 5 minute walk to another beach called Ton Sai Bay. There are more longtail boats hanging around on this beach, but it doesn't spoil the location. We had a couple of hours playing around on the beach and in the sea, like a couple of overgrown kids. Then there was a sudden 10 minute downfall. I love the rain spells in Asia, they come heavy, but last for only a few minutes, then it's hot & sunny with clear skies again - it's great!
This 10 minute break though gave Lorna the opportunity to be hungry! Lorna saw a sign outside a restaurant saying "Giant Pizzas" and it was all the encouragement she needed - we were in, sat down and ordered quicker than a drugged up Ben Johnson!! It was a good pizza though!
After lunch we went back to our digs and dossed around by the pool for the rest of the afternoon
After a shower and change we went to the Thai Cuisine Restaurant for Stir Fried Noodles with chicken and I had my favourite again, Chicken Panang Curry! Then it was time to actually make some plans for the next two days instead of being lazy gits!!
We booked a trip to sail round the three islands that make up Kho Phi Phi. The island that we are stopping on is Kho Phi Phi Don, then there are two uninhabited islands called Kho Phi Phi Leh and Bamboo Island. I am informed that Maya Bay on Kho Phi Phi Leh is where the film "The Beach" was shot......never seen it.....don't care! Apparently Lorna does though, so we will be paying it a visit.
We have also booked our ferry transfer over to Krabi on mainland Thailand. We are going to stop there two nights before heading off to Langkawi in Malaysia. We are going to get the afternoon sailing so we don't have to get up early.
After all this organisation, we decided to go and have a few beers at the Hippie Bar. It was happy hour until 10.30 and Chang was only 40 Baht (about 60p)
About midnight we headed to Tiger Bar as they give away free buckets between 12.00 and 12.10! Oh yeah, I've not mentioned the buckets yet. You get them all over South East Asia. It's basically a spirit and mixer of your choice in a......can you guess?.......the clues in the name......yes, a bucket! Its about half a litre of vodka & coke or whiskey & coke or......well whatever. Everywhere you go, there is always some sort of deal on buckets!! It's grand! Anyway, they do have some bars that give away free whiskey & coke buckets at midnight for ten minutes. The buckets are not quite as full as normal - but its free and still extremely toxic!!
After buckets and Changs, it is obvious to say we were both a bit merry, but we made it back to our bungalow - somehow!

Yep...Ice Cream
! At 11pm they did a fire show as well which was pretty cool. It was funny when they threw the fire torches into the air, it was a bit windy and the torches were nearly flying into the audience!! Hot stuff.About midnight we headed to Tiger Bar as they give away free buckets between 12.00 and 12.10! Oh yeah, I've not mentioned the buckets yet. You get them all over South East Asia.
