After a good lie in this morning followed by the free buffet breakfast, we had to decide whether we wanted to actually get off our asses today. The decision was - maybe. We knew we had to go and collect our visas today at 3pm, so we will probably set out about 1pm and go via the markets.....
We did leave our smelly pit of a room at about 12 o'clock, along with Donna & Peter. We headed to the markets and spent a couple of hours checking out all the dodgy DVD's and Playstation games - they have got everything!! We also found a restaurant for this evenings nosh before dumping D&P at the Highland Coffe joint. We went off to KFC and then off to get our visa's.
We arrived a little early for our visas so we weren't a-lao-ed to get them yet. Did you see what I did there? Did you notice how I used the name of the country we are going to next? Did you see how........it's a bit sad if you have to explain it isnt it?!? Oh well, my humour has consistently been frowned upon during my many years on this planet, so more mockery wont hurt!!
As we had to wait another half an hour it only seemed polite to use the cafe across the road for a swift bottle of the local brew. This time it was Halida Beer - nice & cheap!
After the swifty, the guy at the Embassy said all was well and that they hadn't found all that information of past criminal activities that Lorna had been involved in - so we were - shall I do it?, shall I?, Go on then - we were A-Lao-ed into the country!! I should think so aswell as it cost us bl**dy $35 each!
