We didn't have much time in Hue today as we had to be ready to leave at 3.30pm for our overnight train to Hanoi.

In the morning we boarded our Dragon Boat that took us down the Perfume River. We had two stop offs. Firstly was the Thien Mu Pagoda and Temple. This was a lovely area right on the river banks where there were monks at prey and a really tranquil and peaceful feeling about the place.

After this we went to Emporer Tu Duc's tomb. This was also a very nice and natural place although by now it was getting ectremely hot. I think people were beginning to wilt in the heat as we were all keen to get back to the hotel pretty soon.

Once we got back to the city, We headed for a quick KFC and a supermarket visit before heading back to the hotel to get showered and changed ready for this evening....

We boarded our overnight train to Hanoi at about 5pm. We basically sat on our beds chatting and drinking beers for the most of the night. We were due to get into Hanoi at 4.30am, so we were hoping for it not to be a late one....
