Today was a Do-Nothing day as Lorna was just about dead!!

I went for breakfast across the road for a big fry-up at about 10.30 - but strangely, Lorna wasn't interested. She stayed in bed until I got back. I managed to haul her out of bed and get her bag packed before we went for a walk to try and freshen her up. She managed to grab a bite to eat at about 12.30 but was still not looking the best. This is probably the reason that there are no photo's to post today as photo's were not allowed.

Later in the afternoon we took a walk up the beach together and about 3.30pm, totally out of the blue, the heavens opened! It was clear blue skies for the past god knows how many days so this was a pleasant change. It wasn't to bad at first, but then it got heavier and heavier and heavier!! We dropped in at the Sailing Club for a swift beer to see if it would past - but to no avail. We decided to make a run for it back to the hotel, but after anout 50 yards we just started walking as it was already impossible for us to get any wetter!!! When we finally got back to the hotel, we took a shower to dry ourself off a bit! Lol! After we got changed and headed downstairs to go for some dinner - guess what - the rain had stopped and it was dry!

We decided on a curry tonight - probably not the best idea with an overnight train to go on - but we were past caring. I've got to say, every time we have a curry they just get better. This one was fantastic. We even got mango chutney. We didn't realise until afterwards that it is actually recommended in the Lonely Planet as well. It's called Omar's and there is one in Hoi An and Hue as well.

After curry, we headed off to the train station to board our overnight train to Danang, and then on to Hoi An. We were in a four berth cabin with Chris & Adam. A few beers were had but I think most people were pretty knackered, and we had to be up for about 5am in the morning to get off the train......we will see....
