There was a cracking breakfast today of omelette, baguettes and loads of fruit. After feeding our faces we boarded our boat to head back to the boat station via the floating market. This was a cool flotilla of boats selling all sorts of produce. They would advertise what they were selling by sticking the item on top of a bamboo stick which was then stuck upwards high above the boat for all potential buyers to see.

We then got dropped off the boat, not literally of course coz that would be stupid! Just at the boat staion where we got our bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.

When we got back to the hotel, Lorna and I just collapsed in bed for a couple of hours....to sleep you dirty minded individuals!! We're married now, we don't do things like that! Calzone Time

After a kip, we went for the fast food option at KFC before heading off to the supermarket and then a walk around one of the local markets to wake us up.

In the evening 7 of us from the group went to the Saigon Restaurant for dinner. This place did absolutely everything you could want for dinner...and the portions were huge. This was just as well as Lorna was pinching everyones food because hers was the last one to arrive. Of course, when it did arrive, anyone who tried to pinch some of her chips was rewarded with a knife to the throat and a glare that could melt you from a thousand yards!!! The rest of the tour group now know all there is to know about Lorna and her food!!

Everyone was knackered from the Mekong adventure so we all had an early night ready for the trip with the wombles tomorrow. (Underground, overground, wombling free....)
