Got up this morning and went for a gret fry-up. As greasy as they come and it was great. Today the weather was sunny and hot, so we spent most of the day on the beach and swimming in the sea. It almost felt like we were on holiday!! Again, this is exactly what we wanted from here, so it was great to just crash out on the beach.
In the evening we found a beach restaurant/shack that was doing BBQ chicken & ribs, so we dived straight in, Lorna first of course!
This is where the lack of alcohol started to really kick in and, once again, warp my fragile little mind. Over dinner, Lorna and I started having serious (sober) conversations about Cambodia's political views and also started to discuss our travel budget!!
This made me think back to wonderful drunken conversations I'd had in the past. Like sat in a pub with Rich Harvey trying to figure out "What is the point of celery?". Sat scared next to Webby as he shouts out "10 seconds to naked hot tub!". Discussing Marc de Raisin, Ewar Woowoo and thighs tightening with Phil, Jeff & Mark. Discussing all time favourite top 10 bridges with Dan. Having ANY conversion with Lisa Pete-Bailey which always seemed to be under the influence of alcohol!!
This was all becoming too much....tomorrow though.....beer will be back!
