Surprisingly, Lorna had a lie in this morning. All was not well in her fragile little head. Although funnily enough, the first thing she said to me when she peeled back her heavily weighted eyelids, was "I wasn't drunk you know, I was just a bit merry". How can she continue a sentence that she started last night?! Unbelievable!
Anyway, whilst she stewed in her own disgusting aroma, I hit Molly Malones and experienced my best brekky so far. It would be an insult to try and use the English language to describe it, so just take a look at the photo below instead!! Yeah, ya wanting some of that aren't ya?!
When the beast finally arose, we went and got her a snack and chilled out reading for an hour or so. Then at about 3pm Das Backpack returned from it's detour to the German capital. The first thing I did was throw it on a table and shone a lamp on it. I demanded to know where it had been and who it had talked to, but it said nothing
Damn, there goes any bail if I get arrested during this trip!!
To celebrate Das Backpacks return, we decided to do the inevitable and have a few afternoon bevvies.
We went to a really nice bar first called Le Tigre De Papier. This was such a chilled out place, playing jazz music, with a real cosmopolitan feel to it. We ended up staying here and eating as well. Lorna had a Spag Bol and I had a calzone pizza, and they were both excellent - I highly recommend this place - Oh, and Lorna said the wine was excellent too.
Actually, I highly recommend Siem Reap. This really is a fantastic place and is not just about Angkor. It's just a great place to chill as well. I hope they don't over commercialise it, although I hear it has been a bit already compared to 5 years ago. This is my number one place so far.
After food, we headed over to a bar to watch some traditional Apsara dancing. It was really good at first, but did become a bit repetitive. We had a few more beers then headed back as we had a bus to Phnom Penh to catch in the morning.
It's a shame to leave, but I am sure there are going to be many more great places along the way.....

Pretending to be intellectual in La Tigre
. I told it that I had ways of making it talk, but still nothing. This was gonna be a hard one to crack! It was about this time that Lorna kicked me in the shin and took her bag off me and checked it's contents. I don't know what had come over me - I suppose I could just blame my mother. Only joking Mum, love you tons! Damn, there goes any bail if I get arrested during this trip!!
