Well, I am finally unemployed, and also finally sober for a change.
Thursday, Friday & Saturday have all been a complete blur.
On Thursday I went to the cricket with about 20 others from work. We went to see day one of the Third Test between England and New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. As a pleasant leaving surprise for me, the little sh*ts made me dress up as a Fat Batman! (Although I probably enjoyed it a little more than what they were expecting!). It was however, one of the hottest days of the year so far and I just melted inside the suit. It was thought the best way to keep me cool was to keep drinking more lager. All this did was make Batman more confident in his own abilities and become more of a dick than usual - but they have only got themselves to blame.
We went to a place called Fire & Ice during the lunch break, but they were a little slow and we ended up getting back to the cricket 15minutes late - AND 3 WICKETS HAD GONE DOWN IN THAT TIME!! Bloody typical. However, we did get to see Kevin Pieterson on his way to a century. After the cricket it was decided a few more beverages would suffice in the Southbank bar where I was finally convinced to take the bloody Batman suit off! That's about all I can remember from the day, except that Alex Marr has "Changed". That will live forever!
